"Woody Allen once said 80% of success is showing up. Broken into pieces by a failing marriage, I owe a great debt of gratitude to Loren who filled me up from my once 10% of fuel to a vast part of the 100% of who I am today. Loren took the time to be an emotional support unmatched by any other. He is a champion of trudging through Life’s proverbial mud to get you not to just 80% but 100% success. Loren is a true dreamer that has much life experience. Thanks in large part to Loren and his selfless and giving nature, I am now truly blessed to be surrounded by an amazing wife and 3 kids. In fact, he married us! He helped me off the ground to become the man I am today."
Loren lives in Durango, CO and is available for regular counseling sessions within 100-miles. He can help you to make changes in your home that will help your family to quickly find stability and hope in crisis.
Experiential games and exercises, role playing, outdoor activities, daylong or multi-day adventure-based rites of passages and even mundane household tasks, such as washing dishes or re-arranging furniture will teach your family the skills needed to immediately bring your family back together, change your situation and improve the feeling in your home in order to move all members forward individually and collectively.
The Hero Project uses internet-based software which allows families to receive counsel from their own home or between geographically separated/blended families. Members can log on to the session together from one terminal or can remain in separate rooms within the home.
The process helps to understand family belief, roles, responsibilities and the journey each individual has taken, as well as the family's journey as a whole. The approach is strengths-based and can include behavioral modification plans and goal-driven future planning to help any family celebrate where they have come from and feel confidence in where they are going.
